De Alto Amo Rioja Reserva 2011

Grapes: 80% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano, 5% Garnacha.
Origin: Rioja, Spain
Tasting Notes: An intense dark red color. On the nose appear redberries and blackberries aromas with hints of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, this medium full body wine is supple and fine with beautiful ripe black fruits flavour and delicate notes of vanilla and slight pepper. The acidity is pronounced and well balanced, combining with the sweet fruits to give a rounded wine in the mouth.

Wine Making: This Reserva 2011 embodies that has made the wines of Rioja so renowned. Produced with grapes selected from the older bush vines which yield very small amounts of concentrated yet balanced fruit. Aged in barrel for 16 month before resting in bottle for 20 months prior to release. (60% French oak and 40% American with approximately 35% new).
