Description: Siliceous-clay soils with gravel sub-soil give the 25+ year old vines the perfect conditions to grow and produce perfectly ripe berries. A 20 days maceration on skins extracts the colour, flavours and structure that give life to this beautiful red Bordeaux. The wine is aged 12 months before release to achieve the smoothness and balanced structure.
Tasting notes: Bright, ruby-red in colour. A vibrant charming nose of blackcurrant and fresh raspberry bouquet. Medium-bodied and smooth on the palate, with a perfect balance and a pleasant finish. A wonderful example of a classic Bordeaux blend.
Pairing: Red fermented bean curd, roasted chicken pot and mature cheeses.
